Excel is a complete mess. I've written several times to no avail and am ready to return the $150 product as useless and find an alternative. First, I copied a row to paste to another row, and it will not deselect the selected row no matter what you do. I even tried manual deselect.
Still nothing. Then I tried to copy another row and paste that. The first row I tried to paste shows up hilighted again, even after I paste the second selection.
If I try to insert a row the first copied selection hilights again. It's rediculous. I spent from 1130pm to 430am updating some banking items that usually takes me 10 minutes TOPS. I have to manually deselect the first copied row again, then save and exit out of the document and go back into it to get it to let me do anything else. Then if I tried to edit a copied cell, it won't let me select it. I tried double clicking and it made the cell disappear.
